# AIMPACT Open Data and Model Policy

- Do not submit internal NTPC, customer, vendor, personnel, plant telemetry, site imagery, contract or infrastructure-security data without explicit documented authorization and an approved release process.
- Public contributions must have a clear original source, owner, provenance and redistribution license. Linking to third-party datasets is preferable to rehosting them. A public web link is not proof of redistribution rights.
- Remove personal data, credentials, access tokens, exact sensitive infrastructure locations, and security-sensitive details. De-identification may not be sufficient for sensitive industrial data.
- Model entries must state task, inputs, outputs, training dataset, intended use, known limits, license, evaluation methodology and reproducibility status. Do not claim validation without evidence.
- Safety-critical, operational or control-room uses require independent domain verification; research code is not approved for deployment.
- Maintainers may reject, redact or remove submissions. Contributors remain responsible for rights to their submissions.
- This repository's MIT license covers repository-authored code only. Linked datasets, models, articles and notebooks may carry separate licenses.
